The Sponsors of Mass Save® Submit an Update to the Draft of The Massachusetts 2025–2027 Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization Plan

September 25, 2024

The Sponsors of Mass Save® submitted an update to the draft of The Massachusetts 2025–2027 Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization Plan on September 25, 2024.

The proposed plan represents a nearly $5 billion investment, including $1.9 billion in equity-related investment, and marks a significant step towards the achievement of the Massachusetts 2030 climate goals for the building sector while supporting efforts to ensure all eligible residential and businesses across the Commonwealth benefit from the Mass Save programs. The filing also lays out a plan to reduce 1.0 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions over the next three years.

We are proud and appreciative of the close collaboration and work with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER), the Attorney General’s Office (AGO), the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council (EEAC), including the Equity Working Group, as well as the public and our trade allies and implementation and community partners.

The final plan submission is due on October 31, 2024.
