Custom Building Insulation & Weatherization Incentives

Incentives for Buildings 8,000 - 100,000 Square Feet.
Insulation and air sealing work hand in hand to make your building more energy efficient and comfortable.

For buildings over 8,000 square feet and below 100,000 square feet, the Sponsors of Mass Save offer custom incentives for upgrades, like:

  • Adding thermal insulation to existing exterior walls and roofs/attics
  • Adding weatherstripping around exterior doors and windows
  • Making air sealing improvements to exterior walls and roofs

Need to remove asbestos, vermiculite, or knob and tube wiring to complete weatherization? Find out how the Sponsors of Mass Save can help with rebates for barrier mitigation.

  1. Contact your Program Sponsor
Before starting the application process, check with your Mass Save Sponsor to determine eligibility of the proposed project and to establish requirements for savings projections and cost estimates.
  2. Complete the C&I Weatherization Calculator and Application

Enter general information about the building(s) receiving weatherization upgrades and details about the energy-saving measures being made. These inputs are required for the tool to calculate your estimated savings properly. You will be required to provide your Mass Save Sponsor photos of the pre-installation conditions and cut sheets for the weatherization to be installed.

Submit the application and tool to your Sponsor for pre-approval.

  3. Project Approval
After a successful review, the Sponsor will notify you in writing of the project approval and incentive amount. You must adhere to the Terms and Conditions in order to receive the final incentive payment.
