Why They Are a 2023 Climate Leader
The Sponsors of Mass Save selected Arlington Public Schools as a 2023 Climate Leader for their ongoing energy efficiency efforts in the education sector. By renovating one of their schools (Gibbs Middle School), they achieved an impressive 21% overall site energy savings.
They also constructed Arlington High School as part of the Mass Save Accelerated Performance Pilot Program. This construction resulted in an outstanding 45.6% reduction in site energy consumption, bolstered by the successful adoption of complete electrification.
