Smart & Programmable Thermostats
Purchase a qualifying smart or programmable thermostat—and get up to $100 per thermostat.
Smart and programmable thermostats allow you to control your energy costs, even when you are not at home.
Smart thermostats use sensors and automation to automatically adjust to your habits and changing weather. They can be remote-monitored and adjusted via smartphones. Programmable thermostats, in comparison, also save energy, but are not responsive to conditions like weather or occupants present.

- Offer valid only for residential customers in Massachusetts where Berkshire Gas, Cape Light Compact, Eversource, Liberty Utilities, National Grid, or Unitil is the Program Sponsor
- Units must be installed between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024
- Units must be new and must meet minimum qualification requirements
- Rebate form and supporting documentation must be received by January 30, 2025
Please note, customers with electric resistance heating are not eligible for this rebate. Program is subject to change without notice, including rebate and incentive levels. Rebate cannot be combined with other incentives for the same equipment. Rebate amount not to exceed total installation cost. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a verification inspection prior to rebate payment. Please allow eight weeks for rebate processing.
