There are three ways to receive rebates on battery-powered lawn equipment.
Option One: Purchase Equipment & Apply for Rebate
Purchase a battery-powered lawn mower, chainsaw, string trimmer, and/or leaf blower and submit your rebate form with the required documentation.

Option Two: Get Instant Rebates from a Participating Retailer
The Sponsors of Mass Save are partnering with retailers to offer residents instant, in-store discounts on battery-powered lawn equipment. To receive the discount, visit the below links to validate your eligibility and receive a code:
You will need to have your utility account number on hand. Present the code at the register, and an instant rebate will be applied to the purchase price.
Option Three: Get Instant Rebates on the Mass Save Marketplace
If you already have an account, log in to the Mass Save Marketplace to explore instant discounts on available lawn equipment. If creating a new account, you will need to link your utility account to the Marketplace to qualify for instant discounts by entering your electric account number.
- This offer is only open to Massachusetts residential electric customers where the Mass Save program is offered by Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, or Unitil
- Limited to one rebate per account, per equipment type, per calendar year.
- The rebate is good for purchases made from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
- Applications for 2024 rebates and all necessary materials must be postmarked or submitted online by January 31, 2025.
