BOSTON (April 30, 2024) – Furthering their commitment to equitable access to energy efficiency education, the Sponsors of Mass Save® today announced that applications are now open for the first round of the 2024 Mass Save Community Education Grant. The year-long program enhances efforts by community-based organizations to provide access to energy efficiency education and programming in Environmental Justice Communities (EJCs) across Massachusetts.
Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2024.
Funding from the Sponsors ranges from $5,000 to $25,000 per year and will be awarded to community-based organizations to increase literacy efforts and program access for renters, landlords, non-English speaking customers, K-12 student organizations, and income-eligible individuals. Applicants must participate in an annual program progress evaluation and collaborate with the Sponsors to create initiatives that engage residents in energy efficiency education. While the application is open to all organizations that meet eligibility requirements, priority will be given to those in EJCs.

- Assistance planning local events
- Mass Save branded collateral to assist in marketing efforts of the grantee
